​The involvement of youth in volunteering and community programmes proves that they are capable of empowering their spiritual and emotional intelligence as well as the best role models and inspiration to the public. As a future leader, youth involvement in such programmes is in line with the whole-of-nation approach. The skills showcased by the youth during the Idilfitri Celebration Exhibition by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah was a significant sign that youth play an important role in the future.

Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB's, Vertical Rice Farming Project among others hoped to provide the knowledge and skills of small-scale paddy planting to the public, which can be done in their respective homes.

The Seri Begawan Religious Teaching University College, KUPU SB, through Nadi Al-Qawi Al-Amin under the management of the Faculty of Social Science Education has involved the youth from KUPU SB, local youth and international youth in carrying out community activities in rural areas and overseas.

Meanwhile, a local product, Heritage Bakwa, which was invented by a student from Politeknik Brunei has received overwhelming response. Bakwa is produced by roasting and baking according to his own recipe.

The Institute of Brunei Technical Education also carried out community service activities run by the HNT Prihatin club and have produced local products.

In addition to development in the academic field, various activities such as religious ceremony, charity work and volunteering were also carried out by the Kemuda Institute.
